Today was the first day of my 2 week vacation. It is actually pretty daunting. What the hell am I going to do with myself for the next 2 weeks. Normally I don’t do anything. I hate going out by myself because I always feel self-conscious and uncomfortable. Granted that doesn’t always stop me. I did go to the Can’t Stop the Serenity event by myself.
It is very weird that I have lived just south of Boston my whole life and have never really explored it. I have never walked the Freedom Trail. The weather looks like it is going to cooperate for a little bit so I am going to get off the couch and check out some of these places. I’m going to walk the Freedom Trail, visit the Aquarium and see an Imax movie, visit the Museam of Science.
I’m not sure what else I should do. If anybody happens to read this and wants to throw some suggestions out there, please do. Just remember it has to be on the cheap. I just want to be able to get out of the house every now and then. I know I am going to head to Eastham for a couple days also, we’ll see what happens there. I usually don’t do much there either.
Summer is finally poking its head out, let’s try and enjoy it.
